The Slam Latch PROe is a multipurpose handle used to protect and monitor security systems, such as doors and flaps, in machines and facilities.
It consists of a handle and a locking mechanism that uses a CES transponder-coded security system by EUCHNER. The use of transponder technology guarantees maximum security according to EN ISO 13849-1 (Class Category 4, PLe) and offers the best possible protection against bad handling.
With the CES-AR electronic system, up to 20 PROe latches can be connected at once. The latch comes equipped with two easily visible LEDs that indicate the current status for quick diagnostics. Its compact, symmetrical design is easy to install in profile slots and you can use it on left or right doors. The metallic casing offers a solid closure and makes this product ideal to use in industrial settings and extreme environments.
The device connects using an M12 plug. You can rotate this 180º depending on where the wiring is located in the facility. As an additional safety measure for unintended openings, the PROe latch comes with a universal key.
